Saint Mary School Middle School Science Fair Highlights the Pursuit of Truth

Saint Mary School recently hosted its Middle School Science Fair, bringing together creativity, curiosity, and thoughtful scientific inquiry from students across the middle grades. The event showcased the hard work and dedication of students who explored real-world questions through research, experimentation, and observation.

Throughout the fair, students demonstrated that science is more than formulas and data—it is a journey toward understanding. Each project reflected the spirit of discovery as students tested hypotheses, analyzed results, and presented their findings with confidence and enthusiasm. The fair served as a reminder that the pursuit of truth through learning continues to inspire wonder and deeper appreciation for the world around us.

This year’s Science Fair winners were:

First Place
Leo Adelstein & Joseph Blunda
The Bacteria Comeback

Second Place
Emily Li
Finding The Perfect Water for Soybeans

Third Place
Amanda Abreu & Mackenna Cordeiro
The Truth We Think We Remember

Faculty, families, and fellow students enjoyed the opportunity to view the projects and celebrate the accomplishments of the participants. The Science Fair continues to be a valued tradition at Saint Mary School, encouraging students to think critically, ask meaningful questions, and pursue knowledge with curiosity and purpose.

At Saint Mary School, moments like these reflect the heart of a Classical Catholic education—forming young men and women who seek truth, embrace wonder, and use their gifts to serve the world around them.
