Discovery was in the air in Mrs. Harriott’s fourth grade class today!

With magnifiers in hand and wonder in their eyes, our young scientists explored the marvelous diversity of God’s creation—classifying animals as vertebrates or invertebrates and uncovering the intricate ways each creature is designed with purpose. From frogs to insects, shells to scales, every specimen sparked new questions and deeper curiosity.

This hands-on exploration wasn’t just science—it was an encounter with the beauty of God’s order in nature. As students examined, discussed, and discovered, the classroom came alive with awe and gratitude for the Creator who made all living things.

At Saint Mary School, learning is more than memorizing facts; it’s about awakening hearts and minds to the Truth, Goodness, and Beauty woven into the world around us. Today, in the hum of excitement and the joy of discovery, our fourth graders glimpsed that divine design—and marveled at the wonder of it all.
