He was ordained to the priesthood on July 31, 2009 at the Bishop O'Connor Center in Madison and helped at parishes in the Sauk City area until he became pastor at St. Norbert in Roxbury in 2010.  Later he became pastor at Divine Mercy Parish, Sauk City, WI where he played an integral role in establishing the school there, acting as Principal and teaching religion.

Haley Holmes, 3K/4K Teacher

Haley grew up in Lena, Illinois. Her mother ran a home daycare, and Haley helped out with the duties for as far back as she can remember.

She graduated from UW Platteville in 2016 with a major in Elementary Education and a minor in Early Childhood Studies. She comes to us from SS. Andrew - Thomas Catholic School in Potosi, where she  completed and loved her first official year of teaching.

She tries to weave faith into every subject – "things like teaching children to be kind, putting others first, and helping each other.  I help them to know who God is in terms they can understand and teach them to be an image of God every day."

Diane Drefcinski, Physical Education Teacher

Diane and her family moved to Platteville in 1997 when her husband began teaching Philosophy at UWP. They have 6 children, 3 girls and 3 boys ages 25-13, and one grandchild.

Diane is licensed to teach K-8th grades.

There are no standards at this time for pre-kindergarten physical education. Thus Diane has developed a program based on the standards for kindergarten. Classes include aerobic development, muscle and coordination challenges, and fun activities.
