A Season of Giving, A Lesson of the Heart
This Christmas Season, the halls of Saint Mary School echoed with more than carols—they carried the quiet joy of generosity. Our community came together through the Toys for Tots program benefiting the Marine Corps Reserve, and the result was something truly beautiful.
With joyful purpose, students, families, faculty, staff, and the steady leadership of Mr. Johnson gave freely and wholeheartedly. Our youngest students carefully organized toy bags with bright eyes and even brighter spirits, while our Student Council stepped up, carrying each gift with pride as they prepared them for delivery. It was faith in action—simple, sincere, and strong.
We were honored to welcome Vice Commandant Michael Waluk, Toys for Tots Coordinator for the National Northeast Division, who personally greeted our students and received the donations that will bring hope to children across New Jersey. In that moment, tradition met tomorrow—the passing on of compassion from one generation to the next.
As Scripture reminds us, “It is more blessed to give than to receive.” (Acts 20:35)
Thank you to everyone who helped make this Christmas Season brighter, warmer, and filled with grace. What we give in love always finds its way back—multiplied.
